Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how GreenShare Technologies ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use ConnectWatch ("Service").
1. Information We Collect
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account data | Company name, email address, password hash, role |
| Connector credentials | SSH keys, passwords, cloud access keys you provide to enable monitoring (encrypted at rest) |
| Monitoring data | Probe results, latency metrics, cipher/TLS info, incident history |
| Billing data | Subscription plan, invoices, payment status (card details are handled directly by Stripe — we never store card numbers) |
| Usage & support data | Support tickets, feedback submissions, audit logs (page, browser, timestamps) |
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the Service, including running the monitoring probes you configure;
- To send service notifications (incident alerts, billing receipts, security notices);
- To respond to support requests and feedback;
- To improve the Service (aggregated, de-identified analysis only);
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Encryption & Security
- Connector credentials (SSH keys, passwords, cloud access keys) are encrypted at rest using per-tenant AES-256-GCM keys.
- All traffic to the Service is encrypted in transit via TLS.
- Application secrets are stored in AWS Systems Manager Parameter Store, not in source code or configuration files.
- Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel.
4. Data Retention
- Probe results and audit logs are retained for 90 days and then automatically purged by a background job.
- Account, configuration, and billing records are retained for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@connectwatch.app.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only with:
- Stripe — for payment processing (subject to Stripe's own privacy policy);
- AWS — as our cloud infrastructure provider (hosting, secrets storage, email delivery);
- Service providers strictly as needed to operate the Service (e.g. transactional email delivery);
- Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law.
6. Sub-tenant Isolation
ConnectWatch is a multi-tenant platform. Each tenant's monitoring data, credentials, support tickets, and configuration are logically isolated and are not accessible to other tenants.
7. Cookies & Local Storage
The Service uses browser local storage to keep you signed in (session token) and to store display preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact support@connectwatch.app to exercise these rights.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notice.
